Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the mobile computer and wait for the operating system to load. Connect to the Internet and visit www.dell.ru. Select the Support & Drivers menu located under the Home category.
Step 2
Open the Drivers & Downloads page. Check the box next to Select from All Dell Products. And click the "Continue" button. On the new page, select "Laptops".
Step 3
Specify the laptop series and select the model you are using. Now find the driver package for your motherboard and webcam. Download the proposed files. You can also use the search bar to quickly navigate to the desired product category.
Step 4
Install the drivers for the camera by running the desired exe file. Select the program required to work with this device. Use only the version of the utility that was tested in the installed operating system.
Step 5
Open Device Manager. Make sure the webcam is turned on. If this equipment is not active, right-click on its name and select "Enable".
Step 6
Press the desired key combination to activate the webcam operation. Most often, you need to press the Fn key and one of the buttons in the F1-F12 row. Run the installed program and check the operation of the device.
Step 7
If you did not find the drivers you need on the official website, use the Driver Pack Solution program. After it starts, wait a while for the scan of the installed hardware to complete.
Step 8
Check the boxes next to the webcam related file packages. Click the Set Selected button. Reboot the mobile computer after installing the drivers. Run the program designed to configure the webcam. Set the required operating modes of the device.
