Most Sony mobile computers are equipped with web cameras. Stable operation of these devices is provided by special drivers or universal programs.

Instructions
Step 1
Visit www.sony.com/support/ru. Open the Support tab and fill in the Get Started field. Enter the exact model name of your mobile computer. Now click the "Find Support" button and wait for the list of available drivers and instructions to open.
Step 2
Download the webcam driver kit or generic generic package for your notebook model. Install the downloaded applications. If the webcam does not work after completing this procedure, open the Device Manager menu.
Step 3
Right-click on the camera icon and select "Properties". Open the "Drivers" tab by selecting the appropriate item. Click the Update button. Navigate to the directory where the files downloaded from the site were saved.
Step 4
Select a program to control the video capture device. For Sony laptops, the ArcSoft WebCam Companion utility is ideal. Install the specified program.
Step 5
Restart your mobile computer and launch the installed application. If a message appears stating that the webcam was not found, manually activate the device.
Step 6
To do this, hold down the Fn button on your laptop keyboard. Now click on the button with the webcam icon drawn. It is usually located in the F1-F12 row. Run the ArcSoft WebCam Companion utility again and check if the camera is working properly.
Step 7
If you are using an external web camera with a Sony laptop, install the drivers required for the capture device to function properly. To do this, visit the website of the camera developers.
Step 8
Now install the Skype messenger. This program supports the vast majority of webcams. Check the functionality of the device. Fine-tune the camera settings. To do this, open the "Settings" menu and select "Video Settings".
