The easiest way to increase the sound volume is as follows. There is a speaker icon in the lower right corner of the monitor. Click on this icon with the right mouse button. Then find the item "Speakers". There is a slider there. Move the slider up as far as possible. Close the window. Now try raising the volume using the slider on the speaker itself. The sound volume should be much higher.
