Corel Draw is a graphics editor mainly used for working with illustrations. Like any image editing program, it has its own characteristics. And one of them is a kind of work with cutting out a certain object from the whole image.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the desired image in the program and adjust its contrast - try to maximize the sharpness of the edges of your chosen object. Zoom in so that you can see the edges of the part of the image you want as clearly as possible. This will simplify the work and will not "capture" unnecessary parts of the image adjacent to the working object.
Step 2
Select the tool called Bezier Curve from the toolbar (where the pencil is drawn) on the left side. Circle the object. The process will work best if you put corner points at approximately equal intervals. When the desired part is outlined along the contour, do not forget to close the resulting curve. To do this, use the Close button in the Bezier Curve toolbar.
Step 3
Convert all sharp corners to a smooth line (solid curve) using the Shape tool. Edit each line to your desired radius, line, arc, etc. An alternative way to invoke the Shape tool is to press the F10 key.
Step 4
Insert the selected object into the resulting curve to select it. To do this, in the "Effects" menu, find the "PowerClip" item, from there go to the "Place inside container" item. After that, an arrow will appear, with the help of which point to your curve by clicking the mouse.
Step 5
If the selected object is centered on the curve, open the Options section of the Tools menu and then Tab. Here select "Workspace" and uncheck the box next to "Auto Center PowerClip". The object you have selected is now clipped from the overall image.
