Creating and configuring a remote connection to another computer allows you to perform some operations without having physical access to your PC. This feature is very convenient for configuring network computers from a single workstation.
It is necessary
- - new account;
- - Radmin;
- - Team Viewer.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want other users to be able to connect to your computer, configure the PC remote control settings. First, create a new account. Set for it only those rights that the person connecting from another computer should get.
Step 2
Open Control Panel and select the User Accounts menu. Open the "Create Account" item. Enter a name for the new account. Select its type: administrator or user.
Step 3
Be sure to set a password for the new account. Its use will prevent unwanted third-party users from interfering with your system. Start configuring remote access. Open the start menu and go to computer properties.
Step 4
Click on the link "Advanced system settings" located in the left column. After starting a new window, select the "Remote Access" tab.
Step 5
Check the box next to "Allow only computers with network level authentication to connect." After activating this parameter, click the "Select Users" button.
Step 6
In the new window, click the "Add" button. Enter the name of the account you created to connect to this computer remotely. Click the Ok button. Now click the Apply button and close the dialog.
Step 7
It is important to understand that standard remote access has several disadvantages. If you want to allow full access of the connected user, use additional utilities such as Team Viewer or Radmin.
Step 8
Do not leave remote access active unless absolutely necessary. Using it can seriously damage your system. Provide access only to verified persons.
