To simulate a real fax, special programs have long been developed. One of them is FaxManager. The program is free, including sending faxes itself. It itself recognizes and converts documents in TXT, RTF, DOC, HTML, PDF, PPT formats, as well as images of GIF, TIF, JPG, PNG, BMP, PCX types.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the FaxManager software to your computer. You can find it on the website softodrom.ru. Check the downloaded files with an anti-virus program, as viruses can be activated during installation and are automatically integrated into the operating system of the personal computer. Install the application by double-clicking on the installation file (usually named Setup.exe or Install.exe). Try to install such software on the local drive where your computer's operating system is located.
Step 2
Select the document you want to fax. Find it in My Computer. Then prepare it for sending: go to the "File" menu item and click on the "Print" section. Select NVFaxService in the list of printers and click "OK". The document will be converted to TIFF format and forwarded to FaxManager, which will start automatically.
Step 3
The main menu of the program contains control buttons "Send a fax", "Send a fax-mailing", and "Send a personalized mailing list". Select the required item. The recipient's data window will open - dial the number of the subscriber where you plan to send the fax. Do not forget that your personal computer must support faxing in order to receive it in the correct form, so check this information before sending it.
Step 4
Click on the "Submit" button. The file is sent in seconds. Repeat the procedure if you need to send another document.
