Step 1
In the event that you do not plan to create a large enough local network, you can get by with a relatively cheap DSL router, for example, the D-link DSL-2500u. Purchase this equipment. Please note that it does not support wireless mode.
Step 2
Plug the purchased DSL router into an electrical outlet. Turn on the device. Connect the splitter to the telephone line. Connect the ADSL port of this unit to the DSL link of the router.

Connect the network card of your computer or laptop to the LAN channel of the router using a twisted pair cable. Now configure the network adapter parameters.

Open the Network and Sharing Center. Select the Change adapter settings menu. Right click on the network card connected to the DSL router. Select Properties. Proceed to the TCP / IP protocol configuration. Activate the "Obtain an IP address automatically" item. Save the settings.
Step 5
Launch any browser installed on your computer. Type the following command in its address bar: https://192.168.1.1. Press the Enter key. When the login and password entry window opens, enter the word admin in both fields. Activate the "Save password" item and click the OK button

Open the WAN menu. Specify the required VCI and VPI values. In the Service Category field, select UBR without PCR. Click the Next button to go to the next setting item.

Select PPPoE data transmission protocol and click Next. Enter the login and password given to you by the provider's specialists in the special fields. Highlight Keep Alive.
Step 8
In the next menu, activate the items Enable Firewall, Enable NAT and Enable WAN Service. Save the changed settings. Reboot your DSL router. Connect the required computers and laptops to the LAN ports.
