Over the past decades, a huge amount of various software has been invented and developed, which greatly simplifies the work of an ordinary user at a computer. After all, if it were not for Windows or Microsoft Office, it was necessary to work in the DOS environment and type texts in a regular notepad, which has, to put it mildly, meager functionality.
Instructions
Step 1
Due to the constantly growing number of various software, the number of low-quality and counterfeit software is also increasing. This is due to the fact that many users do not want to pay money for a licensed product and they have to use jailbroken versions of operating systems and other programs.
To remove counterfeit software, first of all, identify which programs installed on your computer are fake. To do this, check the license in the setup menu by opening any program. If the site of the developer or his representative is indicated there, then everything is fine, and you are using licensed software.
Step 2
If not, then the program will have to be removed so as not to attract the attention of government agencies fighting piracy. The counterfeit copy of the software is removed in this way. Go to the "Start" menu and click "Control Panel". Next, a window will load with a list of various options. Find the "Add / Remove Programs" icon there and click it. In the window that appears, find fake programs and remove them.
Step 3
There is also another way. Click the "Start" menu and click on the "Run" button. Then in the window that appears, enter control appwiz.cpl. This will allow you to locate the programs that you intend to remove. If the operating system installed on your hard drive is also fake, it must be removed as well. To do this, format the hard disk partition on which it is located, before copying all the valuable data to another partition. This way you can save them.
Step 4
Before installing any software, check it carefully for authenticity. This way you will avoid problems with removing unlicensed software from your computer. If a fake copy contains malware, it can be detected by an antivirus, which is mandatory in modern realities if you want to protect your computer from virtual intruders.
