It is necessary

  • - a computer
  • - browser
  • - administrator account in joomla

Instructions

Step 1

Log in to the admin panel. Remember that authorization in the admin area and authorization on the site are completely different things. To enter the administrative panel, add the word "/ administrator" to the address of your site in the address bar. On the page that opens, fill in the "login" and "password" fields that were created in advance. If the username and password are entered correctly, you will be taken to the administrative panel.

Step 2

Select the "Materials" tab in the toolbar, then - "Material manager", then - "Create material".

Step 3

In the window that opens, fill in the following fields: "Title", "Title tag", "Category". The title is a small phrase or sentence that is the title of the article that is supposed to be placed on the page being created. Title tag is a title generated for search engines. It will be processed by search robots. The title tag may differ from the main title, but it must necessarily contain a key phrase, under which the text will be written. Sometimes there is no "Title tag" field in the joomla toolbar. In this case, the “Title tag” will automatically contain the “Title” text. If you still want to add this value yourself, you can install the special plugin contenttitle. The remaining fields are either filled in automatically, or are optional for filling in the first stages of page creation.

Step 4

Paste the material text or sample text in the appropriate field. This is necessary in order for the material to be preserved. It is not necessary to immediately post prepared, literate and complete text, especially if you are creating a page at the stage of exploring joomla capabilities. You can insert a couple of words or one sentence - in any case, later the text can be changed.

Step 5

Please check all completed fields carefully. Any errors can be corrected after creation, however, the fewer inaccuracies and shortcomings on your part at the first stages of work, the more likely it is to master the capabilities of joomla as soon as possible.

Step 6

Click the "Save" button, then "Close".

Step 7

In order for the article to appear on the site, attach the material to the menu item.

Step 8

If you did everything correctly, a message will appear stating that the material has been saved successfully. Thus, you have created a blank page in Joomla that will be stored in the database. You can edit the page at any time through the admin panel.
