Occasionally, when you print a document, the printer may print blank sheets of paper. This can be due to several reasons, for example, a malfunction of the printer itself, a lack of toner in the cartridge, or the fact that a blank document was sent to print.
First, make sure you haven't sent a blank document to print. For example, it often happens when unnecessary "Enter" or page breaks appear in the document. Then there may be many blank pages in it, and when the document is printed out, the printer prints blank pages. When printing, it is better to set in the print settings either "Current page" or write specific pages in the appropriate field. Also, a cartridge malfunction may be causing the blank pages to print. First of all, check this by installing another working cartridge in your printer. If the printer prints normally after these steps, the cartridge is defective. If this is not possible, after printing, remove the cartridge from the device, look at the drum unit. If a part of the document is printed on it, then the problem is in the printer, if nothing, then the cartridge is faulty. What could it be? Firstly, a malfunction of the drum, or rather damage to the contacts, which are responsible for the transfer of potential to its surface; or a magnetic roller. If the printer does not print anything with any cartridge, then the problem is in it, for example, the laser unit, which is responsible for transferring the image from the computer to the imaging drum of the cartridge, may be defective. Or there is a breakdown of the high-voltage unit, which is responsible for the charges on the drum. Without special knowledge, it is quite difficult to determine a printer hardware malfunction in the case of printing blank sheets, if there is no special knowledge. Often times the printer prints blank pages due to lack of ink. In a second, this could not happen, you would notice that the brightness of the prints decreases, streaks appear on the paper. Long periods of inactivity can dry out ink, causing blank pages to come out of the tray. Then, after refilling the cartridge, the nozzles must be cleaned.
