Very often there are problems with it related to program crashes. In most cases, they happen due to the fact that the software has changed ownership, and Skype became the property of Microsoft. Step 1
If you have forgotten your Skype password, then the easiest way to restore access to your account is to send a password change request through a special form on the website.
Step 2
First of all, connect the Internet and open Skype, click on the program shortcut on your desktop, then click on the "Forgot your password?" Link.

After you go to the Skype website, immediately write your e-mail address, which you indicated during registration, and click the "Send" button. Then check your inbox. After a while, you should receive an email from Skype with information about changing your password using a time code.
Step 4
Please note that this letter can be mistaken for spam by various mail systems and programs, so if you do not see the letter in your Inbox, then be sure to check the Spam folder. Study its contents carefully.
Step 5
Then click on the "Temporary Code" link to return to the Skype site. If this link does not work, try following the "Enter code manually" link and enter it manually. Change your password. In order to come up with a good password, take some word in Russian and write it on the English layout, then it will be much easier for you to remember it.
Step 6
After that, you will see windows for entering a new password. Enter it in the "New password" box and then re-enter the new password in the "Repeat password" box. Then click on the button "Change password" and "Sign in to Skype".
Step 7
If you have several logins, then select from the list the one to which you forgot the password. If there is only one login, then it will be chosen, and you will only have to enter a new password.

In case you cannot remember the login, then follow the link "What is my Skype login?" It will be available in the Skype authorization window or when entering your personal account.
