When creating video materials using editing programs, it is necessary to synchronize the audio and video streams. In some cases, the audio track can be replaced, for example, with other audio files. To add audio files to the video image, you must use a special program.
Necessary
VirtualDub Mod software
Instructions
Step 1
This program can be found freely available on the Internet. Use any search engine, type "Download VirtualDub Mod" without quotes and press Enter. Among all the requests, select the line in which you can find the word "Download". After clicking on the selected link, click the Download or Download button on the page that opens.
Step 2
After unpacking the program from the archive, run it. Open the video file in which you want to add an audio track, click the File top menu, in the list that opens, select the Open video file item.
Step 3
Here is the file selection window, after you find the video, click the "Open" button. The video selected by you will be loaded into the program window. You need to add an audio recording, i.e. you will not touch the video file itself. But by default, the program has the ability to edit both a video file and an audio file, so when you save the video, the stream will be recreated. It will take a certain amount of time to create a new thread, therefore it is better to disable this option. To do this, click the top Video menu and check the Direct stream copy item in the list that opens.
Step 4
To add any audio stream to the program window, click the Streams top menu, in the list that opens, select the Stream list item. You will see the Available streams window, in which you can connect new streams or disconnect existing streams. To delete a stream, select it and then click the Disable button.
Step 5
To add a new stream, click the Add button, in the window that opens, find the stream and click the "Open" button. You can add multiple audio streams to the Available streams window, but the one at the top of this list will play. After adding all the audio tracks, click the "OK" button. All that remains is to save the fruit of your creations: click the top File menu, then click the Save As button or press the F7 button.
