If you want to add off-screen background music to your movie, select a sound file and use a special video processing program. Based on the parameters that are important to you, you can choose the most appropriate utility.
Necessary
- - video file;
- - music file;
- - muvee Reveal or CyberLink PowerDirector software.
Instructions
Step 1
Open muvee Reveal. After launching the application, on the top toolbar, find and click the "Add" button. Then, in the drop-down window, specify the location of the files you need. Open the destination folder, mark the video files in which you want to add audio and add them to the project.
Step 2
In the lower left part of the working window of the program, in the "Music" section, add one or more music files to the project. Then go to the "Settings" menu (it is located in the lower right corner) and select the parameters necessary for your movie: the volume of the musical accompaniment, the duration. Then press the OK button to apply the settings. Then go to the "Save muvee" option.
Step 3
Similarly, you can add music to a video file in CyberLink PowerDirector. Run the application, in the upper left corner, click the "File" button, then select the import option in the drop-down window. In the window that opens, check the "Multimedia files" item or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + Q.
Step 4
Add video files and music to your project that you want to use as soundtrack. Place your music and video files on the appropriate tracks (the first one on top is video, the second is audio). If necessary, trim the music, leaving the desired section.
Step 5
Right-click on a music file on the work track to select the background and music options, also defining the sound volume level. Here you can also add audio to the video. After that, you just have to save the project and write down the result.
