Codes are special symbolic commands that must be entered during the game. These commands activate various auxiliary abilities of the character, for example, immortality or the ability to fly. In some games, codes must be entered in Russian.
Instructions
Step 1
Check out the list of codes that can be entered in the game. It can usually be found in the manual on the installation disc, the developer site, and on the amateur gaming forums. Also check out special databases of game cheat codes, for example, CheMax. Find out how you can enter codes in the game. Sometimes for this you need to first install special programs (trainers). Commands are most often entered through the game console, which can be called up during the game by pressing the "Tilda" (~) button.
Step 2
Enter the codes in the way indicated in the manual. If they are entered in Russian, switch to it using the combination "Alt + Shift" or "Ctrl + Shift" on the keyboard. If this cannot be done during the game, switch the language just before launching or minimize the already running game to the tray by pressing the "Win" key. Also, carefully study the manual for the game: sometimes the language is changed by entering a special command in the game panel.
Step 3
Change the language in the above way if the game, on the contrary, requires you to enter codes in English. Note that in some cases, you must also first press the Caps Lock key and enter commands in capital letters. If the game does not have a console, most likely, you need to enter cheat codes from the keyboard during gameplay.
Step 4
Use the trainer app if there is no other way to enter cheat codes in the game. Download the program from the Internet and run it. Read the instructions for using the trainer and see what combinations are available for input. Without closing the program, start the game. While in the main menu or starting a level, press the key or key combination indicated in the manual. After that, you will hear a beep indicating that the trainer has been activated.
