Viewing the browsing history in the Internet Explorer browser serves as a convenient function of finding and saving the necessary resources and is a standard action of the application.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system to view the browsing history of Internet pages in Internet Explorer 7 or 8 and go to the All Programs item.
Step 2
Find the program you want and launch your browser.
Step 3
Expand the "View" menu of the top toolbar of the application window and go to the "Browser Panels" item.
Step 4
Select the Log command from the drop-down list and select the desired directory entry in the left pane of the log window. This action causes the display of web resources visited for the selected period of time.
Step 5
Select the desired URL to display the directory of Internet pages and specify the desired address to go to in the open tab.
Step 6
Expand the "History" menu in the upper toolbar of the browser window and specify the desired method for sorting the saved records:
- by date;
- by node;
- by attendance;
- in the order of visit.
Step 7
Return to the "Journal" menu and select the "Search in Journal" command to perform a search operation according to the specified criterion.
Step 8
Enter the value of the required URL or the name of the web page in the "Find" field of the search dialog box that opens and confirm the execution of the command by clicking the "Start Search" button.

Quit the Journal tool by clicking on the x in the upper right corner of the application window (for Internet Explorer 7 or 8).

Launch Internet Explorer 9 and expand the service menu by clicking the star logo button in the top toolbar of the program window.

Select the "Journal" item and use the above-described algorithm of actions to change the parameters for displaying the visit log.

Note that in Internet Explorer 9, searches can be performed by entering the desired address or name of a web resource in the text field of the address bar, or by using the offline log option.

Press the alt="Image" softkey and expand the File menu on the top toolbar of the browser window.

Specify the "Work Offline" command.
