Step 1
One of the best free keyboard reprogramming apps out there is Mkey. Go to the website https://www.seriosoft.org, download the program to your computer and install it. When installed, Mkey changes the keyboard drivers to its own and completely subordinates the keyboard to itself.
Step 2
If you want to change the function of a key, open the program window and enter the "Keys" menu. Right-click in the left area of the window and select the "Add" option. After the dialog box appears, press the key whose function you want to change, and enter any name for this key in the form. After confirming your decision by pressing the "OK" button, select one of the actions in the central area of the window, the execution of which you want to entrust this key. Confirm your choice by clicking the "Save" icon in the lower right corner. From now on, the selected key will perform its assigned function.
