In addition to her, the proprietary software suite also includes additional applications for scanning and subsequent processing of documents.

Step 1
If you bought a standard scanner from a store, the box should contain an optical disc with all the necessary software - firmware. Install it in your computer's reader and wait for a dialog box to appear asking if you want to allow the autorun program to run. Answer this question in the affirmative, and the disc menu will appear on the screen - depending on the device model, the number of points and their wording will differ.
Step 2
Select the driver installation item. In this case, the scanner must be disconnected from the computer. If this is not the case, you will receive a corresponding prompt from the installation program - follow its request and follow the further instructions of the installation wizard. At the end of the process, not only the driver will be installed, but also several additional programs, which can be accessed through shortcuts on the desktop or from the HP folder in the All Programs section of the OS main menu.
Step 3
If for some reason you do not have an optical disc with the software at your disposal, the easiest way is to download the necessary files via the Internet. On the Internet, you can find the necessary programs on various web resources, but it is better to use the official website of Hewlett-Packard - this largely guarantees against the appearance of viruses and other malicious programs on your computer. A direct link to the "Drivers and Freeware" page of the HP server is given below - download it into the browser and on the page that opens, type the name of the device in the field under the inscription "Enter the product name or its number".
Step 4
If after clicking the "Start Search" button you do not receive a list of links, click the highlighted text "search on the HP website" in the penultimate line. The results in this case will be presented in English - choose the one that ends with the words software / driver. On the information page, the required button labeled "Download" is placed in the very first line - download and run the installation wizard.
