To watch videos with DVD players and similar equipment, certain formats must be used. It is customary to use additional utilities to convert files to the desired format.

Instructions
Step 1
Download Total Video Converter. Run the downloaded exe file and click Next several times. This is necessary for quick installation of the program using the standard set of parameters. Reboot your computer. After loading the operating system, launch the TVC shortcut located on the desktop.
Step 2
After opening the main menu of the program, click the "New task" button. In the expanded submenu, select "Import file". After opening the explorer menu, select the desired mpeg file. Select it with the left mouse button and click "Open".
Step 3
Immediately after selecting the desired video file, a menu will open containing a list of available formats. First, set the slider to High Quality in the Convert To menu. Check the box next to Use built-in decoder.
Step 4
Left-click on the DVD item and select the PAL for DVD burning sub-item. After returning to the main menu of the program, click the "Open" button located in the "Folder for saving files" menu. Select the directory where the video file will be saved after conversion.
Step 5
Check if the specified parameters are correct and click the "Convert Now" button. After that, a new window will appear, in which the conversion process will be displayed. When the program finishes performing the necessary operations, the folder into which the resulting file was saved will automatically open.
Step 6
Burn it to DVD using Nero Burning Rom. In this case, it is better to use the Data DVD template. For successful video playback with most players, it is better to disable adding files to the disc. To do this, uncheck the "Create multisession disc" checkbox before writing data.
