Step 1
Select a Wi-Fi router. This device must work with the type of radio signal you want (802.11 b, n, or g). Pay attention to the types of security supported by the selected network equipment. Connect the device to the mains and turn it on.

Now connect to the WAN (Internet) connector the network cable provided by your ISP. Connect one of the laptops or desktop computers to the LAN port of the router. To do this, use the network cable supplied with the device.
Step 3
Launch a web browser on the equipment connected to the Wi-Fi router. Enter a value for the IP address of the router and press Enter. Right after entering the web interface of the network device, open the WAN menu. Go to setting up your internet connection. To do this, enable or disable the dynamic IP address, enter your username and password, specify the type of data transfer supported by your ISP. Save your internet connection settings.
Step 4
Go to the Wireless or Wi-Fi menu. Select the values of the items in this menu so that they correspond to the parameters of the wireless adapters of notebook computers. Set a strong enough password for your wireless network. Save the settings for this menu.
Step 5
Now open the advanced settings menu. Enable NAT and Firewall functions if you did not do so when setting up your Internet connection. Reboot the Wi-Fi router to apply the settings. Wait until this device is fully loaded and connected to the provider's server.
Step 6
Now turn on your laptop and start searching for wireless networks. Connect to the hotspot you recently created. Check your laptop's internet connection. Stationary computers are recommended to be connected to the LAN ports of the router.
