Step 1
Go to "Start" and then to "Control Panel". Select "Administration". Click "Computer Management" and "Device Manager", and then "Network Cards". Here, in the properties, select such a column "This device is not used." You can disconnect from the local network as follows. Go to "Start" on your computer. Select the section titled "Control Panel". Among all the icons, click on the "Network Connection" tab. A window will open in front of you where you will see the "Local Area Connection" icon. If it says "Connected", you can disconnect. To perform this action, right-click on the icon. A window will open where select the "Disable" option.

If there was a need to disconnect the computer from the local network, you can do the following. Clicking on "Start" with the mouse and select the following sections: "Control Panel", then "Network and Internet", then "Network and Sharing Center", well, "Network Connections Management". Right click on the network you want to disconnect. Then you can do one of the following. If the connection is wireless, then click on the "Disconnect" tab.

You can try using the "Dial-a-fix" program. Download it on the Internet and install it on your computer. Open up and get to work. Find this option "SSL / HTTPS / Cryptography". In it, check the box, and then click on the "Go" tab. If all else fails, or if you cannot complete an action, simply unplug the internet connection cable.

Everything can be done through the command line. Download a utility like Devcon. Go to the "Device Manager" tab via "Start". Look there "Network Card Details". For example, it might say "PCIVEN_10EC & DEV_8168 & SUBSYS_E0001458 & REV_014 & CF4E44 & 0 & 00E5". Copy or remember this information only up to the & symbol, that is, "PCIVEN_10EC". Open a command prompt and paste there, for example, "devcon.exe disable PCIVEN_10EC" (in your case, see for yourself what to insert). The local network will be disconnected.
