If, when trying to start the game, you need to enter a license code and an activation number, use an Internet connection or phone (any method specified in the menu by the developer will do). Find the license code for the program, enter it in the appropriate window of the activation program, wait for the activation code to be generated, then complete the process and start the game.
Step 3
If the license code is not indicated on the disc, its packaging, documentation, or its contents, return it to the place of sale. If you find that the license is counterfeit, also return the disc to the retailer, as its use is illegal. The next time you buy a game disc, pay special attention to its packaging, it must contain the necessary holographic stickers and all names must be in the correct order.
Step 4
Do not buy discs that have grammatical or punctuation errors in the title or description. The licensed disc with the game must contain information about the developer and the company that legally sells this game in your country. Pay attention to the plastic wrap - it should not contain any seams around the perimeter or anywhere else.
Step 5
Do not buy discs in the markets or in questionable stores, it is best to give preference to specialized points of sale or a well-established online store of licensed games. Also pay attention to the service Steam, designed to buy game licenses.
