Instructions

Step 1

Open your scene to be rendered. Check all animation options. Then press the F10 button on your keyboard or the Render Setup icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 2

In the window that appears, in the Common tab, in the Time Output column, select Active Time Segment. At the same time, 3d max will preserve all your animation from zero to the last frame. You can save only part of the animation if you want. To do this, check the box next to Range. Specify the frame range for rendering in the adjacent windows.

Step 3

Use the mouse to move a little lower. In the Render Output column, click the Files button. In the window that appears, in the File type column, select AVI file. Specify the path to save and the file name. Click the "Save" button.

Step 4

Another window will pop up in front of you. In it, specify the desired codec and compression rate for your video. Click Ok. Check - a check mark should appear in the Render Output column next to the Save File inscription.

Step 5

At the very bottom of the Render Setup window, in the View column, select the camera or view from which you want to save the video.

So, you have made all the necessary settings for rendering the animation - you can start counting. To do this, click the Render button.
