Instructions
Step 1
Go to ecamm.com and download a free trial or full version of Call Recorder. Install it on your computer and run it.
Step 2
Open Skype and click the File button and then Settings. Click on the "Record" function in the tab on the right side of the window. Click on the Video Recording menu and choose WMA or MP4 format. Click on "Recording Options" and select "Picture-in-Picture" from the drop-down menu.
Step 3
Make a video call. Click the Record button in the Call Recorder Control Panel at the top of the screen to start recording video and audio in the format you specified in the Preferences menu. Click the Stop button to stop recording.
Step 4
Download and install SuperTintin from the official site for this product, supertintin.com. Run it on your computer.
Step 5
Click the Help button at the top of the main window. Click on the "Parameters" function from the drop-down menu. Check the box next to "Start automatically at Windows startup" to enable this feature.
Step 6
Click on the "Start Automatic Call Recorder" button to record all calls without having to launch the software every time. Click "OK" to open the program in the background.
Step 7
Open Skype and make a video call. Exit the program when you are finished speaking and expand the SuperTintin dashboard from the notification in the lower right corner of the screen. Click the Saved Recordings button to open the folder containing the recorded video calls.
Step 8
Download the Pamela Professional software. This is a dedicated Skype plugin from pamela.biz. Install this software on your desktop and start Skype.
Step 9
Make a video call using Skype. Click "OK" when the installed program asks to record a video call. Press the "End Call" button when the connection ends.
Step 10
Double-click Pamela Professional in the My Documents folder to view a saved copy of the video you recorded. Right click on the file and click "Rename" to change the name of the video call file.
