Often there are situations with a computer when the system simply does not want to boot or various failures occur in programs and processes. At the same time, inexperienced users do not know what to do. However, do not despair, as this situation can be solved in a short period of time.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - access rights.
Instructions
Step 1
If your computer constantly restarts, shuts down, system errors occur, or information is simply lost by unknown means, you can restore everything. The operating system has a special built-in program that allows you to return the entire process to an earlier period of work. For example, you can return documents that were deleted a couple of days ago or restore programs that worked a week ago.
Step 2
Go to the start menu. Then click on the "All Programs" tab and select "Standard". Find the column titled "System Tools" and "System Restore". This is the built-in utility that allows you to restore the operating system to an earlier period of work. You will see a window in which there will be two items. Choose "Recovery for the early period of work". Next, a list of dates will be presented for which restoration can be performed.
Step 3
Even novice users will have no problems with this operation, since there is a clear interface presented in the form of a small calendar. Choose the date on which the computer will be returned to work. Click on the "Next" button. You will need to re-confirm the restoration. The computer will automatically restart. In this case, the reboot will take much longer. You will see the entire recovery process on your computer monitor. As soon as it is over, the computer will turn on by itself.
Step 4
It is also worth noting that System Restore may not always work correctly. In some cases, errors occur. If everything goes well, the system will notify you about it after rebooting. In case of errors, click on the "Mark recovery" button and try to perform this operation for an earlier period.
