Symbol - from the Greek "sign, mark" - any graphic sign: letter, number, punctuation or special character. Most often, the word is used in a narrow sense to denote characters that are not part of the main keyboard layout. Removing special characters is not much different from removing other characters.
Instructions
Step 1
In a text file, hover your cursor directly in front of the character to be deleted. Press the "Backspace" key. The character is deleted.
Step 2
You can hover your cursor after the symbol. In this case, instead of "Backspace" press the "Delete" key.
Step 3
You can also remove a character from a blog post in at least two ways. In the visual editor mode, the method is similar to working with a text document.
Step 4
In HTML mode, the character is encoded with a set of letters. To delete a character, select the code using the “Shift” keys and the right or left arrow (depending on the position of the cursor). Press the "Backspace" or "Delete" key.
