Sometimes a user who wants to install or update an operating system is faced with the problem of not having a CD with the distribution kit, or, even worse, the lack of an optical drive on the computer. In this case, the ability to install the operating system from removable media or, more simply, from a familiar USB flash drive, which is better prepared in advance and for the preparation of which, one way or another, still requires a disk with a distribution kit, helps out.
