It costs developers a lot of money to create intros to games. However, the costs have to go so that players remember the studio, the publisher and are warned about the age rating of the game. However, watching the same thing every time you launch it is simply impossible, and the desire on the part of gamers to skip the video is understandable.
Instructions
Step 1
Check all controls. Often videos are skipped on the very first keystroke: try the Enter, Space and Esc keys, the rest are rarely used to skip. Also, do not forget to click the mouse a few times and try out all the keys of the controller, if it is connected to the computer.
Step 2
Remove the clips manually. To do this, go to the root directory of the game and find there a folder with a video named titles, intro, etc. Do not permanently delete data, it is better to just transfer it to your desktop and try to launch the game. Some games will start without this folder, skipping the splash screen - which is what you wanted. However, there are games that will not work, then the videos will have to be replaced in order for the game to run.
Step 3
Download the Re-Pack of the game. This is a specially crafted edition by the players and is smaller in size than the official version. In particular, the smaller size is achieved by removing (this does not affect performance in any way) non-gameplay videos from the game body. Try to find on the Internet the most compressed version of the archive with the product, for sure it will be without opening screensavers.
Step 4
Download a special fix. This is a small patch that will block the game from accessing the intro. This modification can be found for most popular projects, but you will have to install it manually. To do this, download the archive with the fix, unpack it and place the archive files in the root directory of the game "with replacement", having previously created a backup copy of the files being replaced. You can find a similar modification on fan forums and game sites.
