Many users are already accustomed to the fact that their operating system begins to malfunction a few months after installation. The most reliable treatment option is at the same time the most radical - it is a complete reinstallation. But to do this, you must first erase the system that was installed.
Instructions
Step 1
You can remove the operating system by simply erasing the files that make it up. However, it will not be possible to do this from under the running system: many of them are loaded into memory and are used for work. Therefore, in order to erase the system, first transfer all the necessary information that you want to keep to other disks or media.
Step 2
Search on the Internet and burn boot disk images to a CD or USB flash drive. For example, Windows LEX RAMBOOT. As a rule, they have an interface similar to the usual interface of the operating system, and it is not difficult to work with them. Restart your computer and change the boot priority in the BIOS. Your removable media with the recorded image should boot first.
Step 3
By booting from a disk or flash drive, you can easily remove the operating system. To do this, go to the system drive and erase all folders created by it. Although it will be more reliable not to simply erase folders, but to completely format the entire disk. It will also help to avoid problems and possible conflicts when installing a new system further.
Step 4
Similarly, you can remove the operating system by moving the system drive to another computer. In the new computer, this disk will no longer be the system one, therefore, the files on it will not be locked. Therefore, it will be possible to erase all folders or format it directly in a running operating system.
