Folders are functional elements of the Windows operating system, combining various files. You can perform various operations with them. For example, folders can be sent ("thrown") to all kinds of storage media or to partitions on the hard disk.
Instructions
Step 1
Try dropping the folder into a different directory. For example, if during installation a folder with a computer game appeared in the Program Files directory, you can move it to Games on your hard drive or any other third-party folder of your choice. To do this, right-click on the folder and select the "copy" or "cut" command. Next, open the required directory and right-click inside its window by selecting the "paste" command. This way you can safely move the folder you want. You can simply drag a folder to another place by clicking on it with the left mouse button and, without releasing it, bring it to the desired place with the mouse.
Step 2
You can move a particular folder to removable media, such as an external hard drive, USB flash drive, CD-ROM, floppy disk, etc. Perform this action by dragging and dropping the folder or copying it, after making sure that there is enough free space on the removable media.
Step 3
You can post folders on the Internet to share information with other people. To upload a folder to a website or send it by e-mail, it must first be placed in an archive file. Install the WinRar, WinZip or other archiver program on your computer, right-click on the folder and select the "Add to archive" command. Specify the required level of information compression, as well as the name of the archive. The finished archive can be attached to e-mails, posted for download on file sharing services, on social networks and on other Internet sites.
Step 4
You can create directories or folders through the admin panel of your own site. Check out the user guide to find out how to organize the data on your resource using the available engine. As a result, you will be able to upload files or publish texts belonging to different categories for convenience.
