Step 1
Some of the saves in the game are automatic. When you win tournament races or drifts, new map points are opened, and the competitions themselves are a kind of "checkpoints". Unlike its predecessor, Underground 2 received a whole city for free movement, and this was a real revolution in racing simulators. In the first game in the Need For Speed series, you could only step through the levels, so there was no need to save the game. A Save as option has been added to the second game's menu.

Click on "Save As". You will be prompted to enter a name for the save. Choose the most relevant, suitable name ("Port", "Store", "Gas station"), so that later it will be easier to remember which stage of the game it belongs to.
Step 4
By default, all save files are located in the NFS Underground 2 folder in the My Documents directory. The name of the catalog is "Saves".
Step 5
You can upload your save for Underground 2 to online resources. Then other players will be able to start the race from the levels you have opened. Popular services Gamesave.ru and Stopgame.ru provide the ability to freely upload and download save files.
