Sony Playstation Portable is a popular portable game console. A large number of different applications and games have been released for it, which can not only be bought in the store, but also downloaded from a computer.
Instructions
Step 1
Games downloaded from the Internet must be saved to a Memory Stick device. Depending on the size of this memory card, you can throw off the corresponding number of different games and programs for the PSP. Download the games you need from the Internet and save them to your computer in a separate folder. Downloadable games must be in ISO or CSO format.
Step 2
Connect the device to the computer using the miniUSB cable that comes with the device. Confirm the connection and wait for the definition of the console in your operating system to further download games. In the dialog box that appears, click "Open folder to view files" to display the contents of the flash drive.
Step 3
In the "Explorer" window, you will see the contents of your device's memory. If you own a PSP with official firmware, to download the game you need to go to the Game folder and copy the file you downloaded earlier. Please note that not all games are supported by the official firmware, and therefore it will be impossible to launch some files downloaded from the Internet.
Step 4
If you have an unlocked version of the firmware installed, you can download games to the ISO directory, also located on the flash drive. If after flashing you do not see the folder data, you can format the media in the device menu.
Step 5
Disconnect the set-top box from your computer and go to "Settings" - "System settings" - "Format memory card". After that, all the necessary folders will be created. Reconnect your device to your computer and move the downloaded games to the ISO directory. Then you can turn off the console again and launch the game you just downloaded.
Step 6
You can also download music, themes, pictures and various programs to the set-top box. The files must be copied to the appropriate directories of the device. So, the music is loaded into MUSIC, and all kinds of programs into the PSP - GAME directory. Themes should be dropped into the THEME catalog, and the interface images should be placed into PICTURE.
