Background replacement is a way to transform any ordinary photo into an original work by placing people on the seashore or surrounded by beautiful interiors, no matter what background they were originally photographed against. The main difficulty in the process of changing the background is the need to carefully and evenly cut and select in the photo the object or person you want to place on the new background so that the image looks beautiful and believable.

Adobe photoshop
Instructions
Step 1
Open the photo you want to work with. Then select the Magnetic Lasso Tool from the toolbar and set the feathering parameters (2 pixels). Using Lasso, select the human figure in the photo as evenly as possible, close the stroke line and call the quick mask with the Q key. In the quick mask mode, correct the imperfections and shortcomings of the selection.
Step 2
Then take the Brush Tool and with a thin brush paint over with white those areas that are not included in the selection, and which will also need to be placed on the new background. In particular, this applies to hair and hairstyle, it is usually more difficult to highlight them. Use a black brush to paint over the areas that should not fit into the selection. Then exit the quick mask mode.
Step 3
Right click on the selection and copy it to a new layer (Layer via copy). Make the background invisible, so that your selection is on a transparent background (click on the eye icon on the background layer). See if in this mode the original background does not show through the cut image. If the background is still visible, use the eraser and Sponge to further refine your subject.
Step 4
Now open the photo or drawing that you want to put on the photo as a new background. Move with the cursor and the mouse to the new background the selected image of the person. To make the person look natural against the new background, adjust the proportions and sizes manually using the Free Transform command.
Step 5
Duplicate the cut out photo of the person. On a copy of this layer, edit the color correction and levels (Levels) so that they match the color gamut and brightness of the new background.
Step 6
Use a lighting filter to find the best light and different layer blending modes. Find the one that best suits the final look of your photo.
