Plugins are additional modules that are plugged into the browser to extend its capabilities. As a rule, the user has the ability to independently choose and install the plugins he needs.
Instructions
Step 1
To display a list of all installed plugins on the Opera screen, type opera: plugins in the address bar and press Enter or the go button. On the page that opens, in addition to the list of extensions, you will see the path to the directory in which they are stored. Remember it, it will be useful to you.
Step 2
Starting with Opera 11.10, major plugins such as Adobe Flash are updated automatically, which significantly increases browser security. If you are using previous versions, update the plugins manually. To do this, first download the new version, usually a file with the *.dll extension. After that, go to the plugins folder (you remembered the path to it earlier), delete the old file and insert the new one. Restart your browser. The new plugin will be ready to go.
Step 3
Please note that each plugin installed increases browser load time by about 10%. Therefore, remove those extensions that you do not use. Alternatively, extensions that are not in use at this time can simply be moved to another folder. If necessary, you can always return them back.
Step 4
The Opera browser is very easy to use, but the user community has developed versions of it that have a number of additional functions. For example, Opera AC already has a number of built-in ad blocking capabilities, has a lot of useful options that make working on the network very comfortable. In addition, after installation, the folder with the browser can be moved to any disk or other computer, Opera will run perfectly.
Step 5
Opera is highly customizable. For example, if you frequently use proxy servers, move the icon to enable them in the address bar. To do this, open the express panel, right-click anywhere on the page, select the "Design" item. Go to the "Buttons" - "My Buttons" tab. Find the enable proxy button and drag it to the address bar. Click OK. In the same way, you can drag and drop other necessary interface elements.
