Instructions

Step 1

Some plugins are installed automatically, the "Installation Wizard" guides the user's actions step by step. Download the plug-in from the Internet or open the disk where it is saved. Left-click on the setup.exe file (install.exe, autorun.exe).

Step 2

In the installer window, select the directory to save the files needed for the plugin to work correctly, if necessary, additionally indicate which program this plugin should be associated with, wait until the installation is complete. Run the application for which you installed the new tool, look for the plugin in the corresponding section of the program menu.

Step 3

If you are installing a paid version of the plugin, during installation (or when using the newly installed tool for the first time), enter the activation code (registration key, serial number, etc.) in the corresponding field. Then follow the usual instructions of the "Installation Wizard".

Step 4

The other part of the plugins is ready to work right away, they just need to be placed in the necessary directory so that the program can read them. In most programs for which the use of additional tools is provided for plugins, a separate folder is allocated. So, for Adobe Photoshop this folder will be located in the C: / Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop CS3 / Plug-Ins directory, and for Autodesk 3ds Max - C: / Program Files / Autodesk / 3ds Max 2009 / plugins.

Step 5

Copy the plug-in to the clipboard by right-clicking on its icon and selecting "Copy" from the drop-down menu. Go to the program folder, intended for additional tools, and click in any of its free space. Select the "Paste" command from the drop-down menu. Launch the application and select a new tool from the appropriate menu section.

Step 6

For some plugins to work correctly, you need to additionally update the data in the dynamic library. To do this, you need to run the appropriate file. Read the installation instructions for each individual plug-in to properly install this or that additional tool.
