Also, a large number of advertisements can contain malicious code that can be executed on the user's computer. Plus, if the Internet connection is slow, it will lead to a long loading of the site pages. Therefore, it is advisable to use tools that help remove ads.

Step 1
Open an internet browser and see its development version. To do this, you need to execute the command "Help" / "About the program …". A dialog box will appear indicating the browser version. If it is outdated, update the program, you can do this by downloading the updated version from the official website of the developer or simply run the "Check for Updates" command. Be prepared for the fact that after updating the program, the installed browser components will be updated. Wait while all updates are installed.
Step 2
Go to the Add-ons Management tab. To do this, you need to execute the command from the main menu "Tools" / "Add-ons" or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A. The aforementioned tab will appear at the bottom of the working area of the browser window. All installed add-ons can be seen in the "Extensions" tab. To install an add-on to remove ads, go to the "Get add-ons" tab and wait a while while the program generates a list of proposed add-ons. Typically, this list contains only frequently used add-ons. If the required add-on was not found, you should go to the main site of the program by clicking on the "Show all" button.
Step 3
Select the "Privacy & Security" category. Find the appropriate add-on and click on the "Add to Firefox" button. After clicking in the address bar, a message with the "Allow" button will appear. Click on this button. Wait for the complete download of the add-on. Then click on the "Install Now" button to allow installation of the add-on.
Step 4
Configure the installed add-on accordingly. If in the process of using the add-on, any advertisement appears on the pages of the sites, then to remove it, you need to hover the mouse cursor over the advertisement, the block will appear in the upper right corner. Click on it with the left button. The delete rule will be added to the add-on registry. On a subsequent match, such ads will be removed automatically.
