Hamachi is a program that creates virtual local area networks over the Internet. With the correct settings, the program allows you to play almost any computer games over the LAN network (if they support this game mode), as well as create shared files, as when working with a regular local network. To properly set up Hamachi, you must follow the following instructions.
Necessary
the Internet
Instructions
Step 1
If you are using the Internet via ADSL, switch the modem to router mode (to do this, read the instructions for the modem). This will allow you to see the game created with Hamachi.
Step 2
When installing Hamachi, select the non-commercial license option, otherwise the program will require a serial number or activation code.
Step 3
Once installed, launch Hamachi and start building the network. To do this, click on the button "Create a new, or enter an existing network", and then "Create a network". The name and password should not be too complicated, because your friends will have to dial them to connect.
Step 4
In order for your friends to be able to log into the network, they need to click on the “Log in to the network” button and enter a name and password. If there is a green asterisk next to your friend's nickname, and a ping window appears when you double-click, then everything is done correctly.
Step 5
For a comfortable game, go to the control panel of your computer, then to the "Network and Sharing Center" and select "network connections". In the window that opens in the right corner, click on "Advanced" - "Advanced options". Use the arrows to drag the Hamachi network to the first position and restart your computer.
Step 6
If after all these steps you still cannot connect to the local game, then go to "Network Connections" again (in the control panel) and select properties. In the new window, select the properties of the TCP / IP (IPv4) protocol and add the default gateway 5.0.0.1.
