Using Adobe Photoshop, you can try on a new hairstyle, an extravagant costume or make a funny collage in which your friend on a white horse drives into conquered Paris at the head of the Russian army. To do this, you need to insert a face into a picture or into a ready-made suit or hairstyle template.
Necessary
- - Adobe Photoshop version 7 or higher;
- - Photo;
- - background picture.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the image that will be the basis of the collage. In order for a person's face to look convincing on someone else's torso, it must be oriented in the same way as the original, and not too different in color, so choose the background picture very thoughtfully.
Step 2
Minimize the original image and open the photo from which you will cut out the face. On the toolbar, select the Lasso Tool (Lasso) or Magnetic Lasso Tool (Magic Lasso) and use them to select the face in the picture. Copy the selection to the clipboard using the Ctrl + C key combination.
Step 3
Open the figure photo. Paste the face by pressing Ctrl + V. If it is very different in size from the main image, apply a free transform by pressing Ctrl + T. Hold Shift, move the cursor over one of the selection nodes and move the mouse to resize this part. Using the Move Tool (Move), move the face to the desired place. Lower the opacity of the layer to 50% and start fine-tuning the size and position using the Free Transform options. Extra details can be removed using the Eraser Tool.
Step 4
Once the face is sized and orientated, return the opacity to 100% and start matching the color of the new part with the background. Change the lighting first. From the main menu, select Image, then Ajustments and Curves. Start bending the straight line depending on whether you want to lighten the image or darken it. If curved upwards, the image becomes lighter, if downwards, it darkens.
Step 5
In the Image tab, use the Color Balance and Hue / Saturation options. Move the sliders to change the color tones and shades to harmonize the color scheme of all the details. Select the layer with the main image and work with its color in the same way as you did with the inserted fragment.
