Copying slides from one presentation to another is quite possible if you have Microsoft Office software that includes PowerPoint. Also, other programs for working with slides are suitable for these purposes, the sequence of actions will be approximately the same.

Step 1

If necessary, download and install the required software on your computer. Open the PowerPoint main menu. Select the presentation from which you need to copy slides and open it in the program.

From normal view, select the slides you want to copy. If you only need one image, select only that image. If there are several, and at the same time they are in order in the presentation, select them also with the left mouse button, while pressing the Shift key. If the images you need are not in order in the presentation, select each of them in the same way, only while pressing the Ctrl key.

Step 3

Right click on the images you selected. Choose the "Copy" action or just press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C. Insert slides into a new pre-created project using the Paste command or by pressing Ctrl + V in the area of the window that normally displays images.

Step 4

Adjust presentation formatting to change the way your files are displayed. To do this, click the "Paste Options" command and select "Keep Source Formatting" if you need to apply the options from the original file.

If you need to change the type of presentation template, use the Use Appearance Template Formatting command, adjusting everything according to your preferences.

Step 6

If you need to transfer images from one presentation to another. Use the "Cut" command, not "Copy" using the same right-click menu.

If you need to copy an image from a presentation into a regular file, then just select it, copy it, open any graphics editor installed on your computer. Choose to create a new file and paste the image from the clipboard into it. Save the slide.
