Instructions
Step 1
Open your computer's control panel from the start menu. Go to the "Regional and Language" section of the menu, here all the settings related to data input devices are performed. In the window that opens, carefully examine the contents of the tabs and find the parameters you need that you want to reconfigure.
Step 2
If you want to change the keyboard layout, add a new layout to the list or delete one of the old ones, go to the second tab - languages, where all the necessary functions will be available. Using the buttons on the right side of the list, reconfigure the layout according to your preferences, then apply the changes and close all windows by clicking the "OK" buttons in each of them.
Step 3
To change the keyboard parameters regarding the commands for switching the layout, use the same menu item by clicking the "Additional keyboard parameters" button. In the small window that appears, select one of the layout options, double-click on it with the left mouse button and apply one of the available commands to the action.
Step 4
If you want to reconfigure the call of certain functions from the multimedia part of the keyboard, use special third-party utilities for this, having previously downloaded them from the Internet.
Step 5
Before installing, it is best to check the downloaded files for viruses. In these programs, it is possible to program the buttons of the multimedia keyboard to call those programs that you most often use. For example, if you absolutely do not need a button to launch an email client, configure it to open a game that you often launch. If you are not using Windows Media Player, use its launch button to open an alternate player.
