Instructions

Step 1

Run the program and create a new document or open an existing one for editing. Click the Page Layout tab. If the toolbars are not displayed, move the mouse cursor to the visible part of the panel and right-click on it. In the context menu, find the "Minimize Ribbon" item and remove the marker from it.

Step 2

In the "Page settings" section, click on the "Orientation" thumbnail button. In the drop-down menu, left-click on the "Landscape" item. The sheet will be rotated 90 degrees. Use the "Margins" buttons to adjust the correct placement of the text on the page.

Step 3

You can also call the Page Setup dialog box to change the page orientation. While on the Page Layout tab, click on the arrow button in the line with the block name.

Step 4

In the window that opens, make the "Fields" tab active. In the "Orientation" group, select the thumbnail with the inscription "Landscape" by clicking on it with the left mouse button. In the Sample group, the page layout changes according to the option you selected.

Step 5

Pay attention to the field "Apply" with a drop-down list in the same group "Sample". Here you can specify whether to apply landscape orientation to the entire document or only to the sheet on which you are currently editing text.

Step 6

After specifying the new settings, apply them to the document by clicking the OK button. The Page Setup dialog box closes automatically. If you need to see how a printed sheet with your data will look, and not just a layout, use the preview function.

Step 7

Click on the Office button in the upper left corner of the window. From the Print menu, select the Print Preview command. A thumbnail of your document will open. In view mode, you can also change the orientation. The necessary tools are located in the "Page settings" block.
