Sometimes the information found on the Internet is so important and useful that people feel the need to save it offline for further review. To do this, you can simply save the web page on your computer, or you can print it if you need to carry the information from the site with you or show it to someone else.
Necessary
Computer, printer, paper
Instructions
Step 1
Usually, for a simple printout of a page, it is enough to press, while in the browser on the desired page, the key combination Ctrl + P. However, sometimes pages are not printed correctly due to various encodings and HTML tables and frames, due to which text and graphic blocks are displaced during printing, and the page is no longer readable.
Step 2
To print the page exactly as you see it on the monitor screen, open the "File" menu in your browser (Internet Explorer 8, Opera, Mozilla Firefox), and then select the "Print" option.
Step 3
In the window that opens, click on the "Print settings" or "Page settings" option, and then open the preview window of the future printed sheet. The preview will show you how a web site page will look when printed, and you can also determine how much paper will be used to print a particular page.
Step 4
Click "Print" and specify which pages you want to print - either you print all pages in full, or specify a specific range of pages.
Step 5
If necessary, change the page settings in the print settings in the browser - adjust margins, indents, paragraphs, and also adjust the portrait or landscape orientation of the sheet.
Step 6
The preview will help you make sure that the web page does not break up into unreadable blocks when printed, and you do not have to then collect the text that is distributed in a mess on different pages.
