Instructions

Step 1

Follow the link at the end of the article - this is the official site of the PickMeApp developers, a program for transferring already installed programs from one computer to another. On the page that opens, fill in the Username, E-mail address, First name and Last name fields. Click on Register and Download and download the installation package of the program.

Step 2

Install the program on removable media, for example, on a flash drive, and then open. There are two windows in the central part of the program. The left one shows the programs installed on the computer, and the right one is still empty. You can use the search: enter in the Filter field, which is located above the window, the name of the program you are looking for or the first letters of the name, and then search for it in the search results.

Step 3

Start converting the program into an installation package. This can be done in several ways. When using the first two, check the box next to the program name. So, the first one - click the button Capture marked application (s) … (it is located between the left and right window). Second - click the hotkeys Ctrl + C. And third - select the program (it is not necessary to check the box next to its name) and click the Capture button that appeared after the selection (along with Repair and Uninstall). A panel will appear at the bottom showing the conversion process.

Step 4

After its completion, the name of the converted program will appear in the right window. This means that the program is packed into an installation package. If you open the TAPPS folder, which is located in the root of the PickMeApp program, then this package will be located exactly in this place.

Step 5

Connect the external media to another computer and run PickMeApp on it. In the right window, check the box next to the name of the packed program and click the Install marked application (s) … The installation process of the program will begin. After the process completes, exit the program by pressing Alt + F4.
