However, the installed program, as a rule, works more stable, it is easy to launch or remove it, since it is "registered" in the computer system. The launch of the program in these two cases will be slightly different.

Step 1
First, we will consider the most common case when the program is installed on your computer. During installation, leave the path to the files and folders of the program as suggested by default. Typically, this is the "C: Programm Files Program_name" folder. In addition, if the program offers to place an icon for launching on the desktop, then be sure to tick this item. In addition to the desktop, the program can place a launch shortcut in the so-called "Quick Launch" located just to the right of the "Start" button. Also carefully look at which of the sections of the Start menu the program places its launch shortcuts.
Step 2
If the program has placed its launch shortcut on the desktop, find it and launch the installed program by double-clicking the left mouse button on the shortcut icon. An alternative option is one click on the shortcut of the installed program in the "Quick Launch", which is located just to the right of the "Start" button (in case the program has placed its shortcut there).
Step 3
You can run the installed program through the "Start" menu. To do this, click "Start" - "All Programs" in sequence and find the program you need in the list. In addition, you can pin the application launch shortcut to the Start menu: Start - All Programs - Installed Program - Right Mouse Button - Pin to Start Menu. Now the launch is available immediately after clicking the "Start" button.

If the program is not installed on the computer, but is provided ready-made, and also if it has not created shortcuts for launching either in the Start menu or on the desktop, it can be launched directly from the installed folder. To do this, using any file manager ("My Computer" or "Total Commander"), go to the folder with the program, usually it is "C: Programm Files Program_name" this folder ").

In the program folder, find a file with the.exe extension, usually it is named in tune with the program and graphically looks like its logo. Run the program by double clicking on the file. Right-click, select Send … - To Desktop (Create Shortcut). Now launch is also available from the desktop.
