The task of determining the server of a computer can be solved in two ways - using the built-in utility ipconfig, which allows displaying all the current network parameters, and manually.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system to use the built-in ipconfig utility designed to determine all the current parameters of network connections, and go to the "Run" item.
Step 2
Enter the value cmd in the "Open" field and confirm the execution of the command for launching the "Command Line" tool by clicking the OK button.
Step 3
Enter ipconfig / all in the command interpreter text box and confirm the command by pressing the Enter function key.
Step 4
Use the following command syntax to define the required parameters: - / all - display all TCP / IP configuration parameters; - / renew - update configuration values; - / release - disable the TCP / IP protocol; - / flushdns - delete the DNS cache; - / dispalydns - displaying the DNS cache; - / registerdns - registering DNS names and IP addresses in manual mode; - / showclassid - displaying the DHCP class; - / setclassid - setting the DHCP class.
Step 5
Return to the main menu "Start" to perform the operation of determining the computer server in manual mode and go to the item "All programs".
Step 6
Select the "Accessories" group and start the "Windows Explorer" application.
Step 7
Find the l2ini file (possible options: l2ex.ini and l2a.ini) in the system folder of the client computer and open it in Notepad.
Step 8
Define a string with the value ServerAddr = containing the IP address of the server, or use the free l2encdec.exe program available for download on the Internet. to perform the decryption operation of the required file.
Step 9
Launch the downloaded application and create a shortcut to the file to be decrypted on your desktop.
Step 10
Call the context menu of the created shortcut by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item.
Step 11
Enter the value -s l2.ini in the Target line at the end of the value and confirm the selected changes by clicking OK.

Run the edited shortcut and define the server address in the ServerAddr = line.
