Step 1
Desktop wallpapers, as an element of the operating system, are stored in the Windows folder. These files have a.bmp extension. In order to view or change the wallpaper, you need to go to the screen settings, and then the desktop. Right-click on an empty space on the desktop - select "Properties" - in the window that opens, go to the "Desktop" tab. In the "Wallpaper" section, you can view all desktop images. After selecting a specific image, click "Apply". If you do not want the picture to be displayed on the desktop, select "No" and click "Apply".

If you need to delete desktop image files, please log in with Administrator rights. To do this, enter the login and password of the "Administrator" profile. After that, launch "Explorer" (My Computer) - double-click on the "C:" drive icon - double-click on the Windows folder - press confirmation to enter this folder. This folder contains some of the desktop image files. Go to the latest files, all files in this folder with the extension ".bmp" are nothing but the desktop wallpaper ("Blue lace.bmp", "Green stone.bmp", "Coffee shop.bmp", etc.) … Select these files and press the Delete button or right-click on the selected files - select "Delete".

The same actions must be done in another folder, which is also in the Windows folder (C: - Windows - Web - Wallpaper). If you are not interested in the wallpaper in this folder, then select all files (Ctrl + A) and delete (Delete) the contents of the entire Wallpaper folder.
