In order to make the computer screen with Windows 7 installed look more attractive, change the wallpaper on the desktop. To do this, follow a few simple steps.
It is necessary
- - a computer with the Windows 7 operating system installed
- - a picture saved on the computer
Instructions
Step 1
Click on the "Start" button, which is located in the lower left part of the screen and looks like a circle with the Windows logo. In the list that appears, select the "Control Panel" item.
Step 2
In the window that opens, click on the inscription "Registration". Then go to the "Screen" section. In the left column of the page that appears, select "Change the desktop background".
Step 3
To replace the desktop background with one of the ready-made versions of Windows 7, click on the button with the arrow, which is to the right of the inscription "Image location". Select Windows Desktop Backgrounds from the list that appears.
Step 4
In the rectangular box located in the center of the control panel window, select the appropriate image. Use the scroll bar on the right side of the field to view all the background options.
Step 5
Then choose your preferred wallpaper location. To do this, click on the button with the arrow, which is located in the lower left part of the window under the inscription "Image position". Click the "Save Changes" button.
Step 6
If you want to set a saved image as wallpaper, then click on the "Browse" button and select the folder in which the desired image is located. Then, among the reduced thumbnails of the pictures that appear in the central field, select the desired file.
Step 7
Indicate the desired background location by clicking on the button under the Image Positioning label. Click on the "Save Changes" button.
Step 8
To set the wallpaper as a single solid color, select Solid Colors from the list of image positioning options. Then click on the appropriate color in the center box and click the "Save Changes" button.
Step 9
If there is no desired shade among the offered options for filling with one color, then click on the inscription "More details", which is located in the lower left part of the control panel window. Then, in the appeared palette, select the appropriate color and click on the OK button.
