There are different ways to draw the reader's attention to a specific part of the text. One of these ways is to draw a stroke. Photoshop can accomplish this task in several ways.

Instructions
Step 1
Use the "New" command from the "File" menu to create a new document in Photoshop. You can do the same action using the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl" + "N". In the palette "Tools" select the tool "Horizontal Type Tool" ("Horizontal text"). Place the cursor on the created document, left-click in the desired location and write the text. Convert the written text to a raster. To do this, right-click on the text layer in the "Layers" palette and select the "Rasterize Type" option and stroke the text. To do this, use the "Stroke" command from the "Edit" menu. In the settings window that opens, select the width of the stroke in pixels, the color of the stroke and its location: inside the outlined path, in the center or outside the path. Click the OK button. Save the created document using the "Save" command on the "File" menu.
Step 2
Another way to create a stroke makes it possible not to convert the text to a bitmap. In other words, you will be able to edit text with a stroke created as a layer style. To do this, create a text layer using the Horizontal Type Tool. Right-click on the text layer and select the "Blending Options" option. Check the "Stroke" checkbox. Click on this tab with the left mouse button. In the settings tab that opens, select the width of the stroke in pixels. This parameter can be adjusted by entering final values in the "Size" field, or by moving the slider. Select the stroke position and blending mode from the drop-down lists. In the "Fill Type" drop-down list, choose whether to fill the stroke with color, gradient, or texture. In the palette that opens, adjust the color, gradient or texture for the stroke. The result of changing the parameters will be displayed in the document that you created. Click OK. Save the stroke text using the Save command from the File menu.
