Step 1
Connecting the main keyboard. This action is simple enough. The user only needs to connect the keyboard wire to the corresponding connector located on the back of the computer case. Note that the main keyboard will always be in working mode. For example, a USB keyboard will prevent you from working with the BIOS, while the main device will do its job just fine here.
Step 2
Connecting a second keyboard. To connect a second input device to the computer, it must provide a USB connection. That is, the second keyboard must be connected to the PC via the USB interface. As in the previous case, you just need to insert the device plug into a free port. Installation of any additional programs in this case is optional. Note that you can connect exactly as many USB keyboards as there are ports on your computer.
Step 3
If you need to connect a wireless keyboard as an add-on, then you will need some software. You will find a CD with the necessary drivers included with the keyboard. Install the required software, then proceed to connecting the keyboard.
Step 4
To connect a wireless input device, you just need to insert the keyboard signal transmitter into an available USB port. The system, thanks to the previously installed drivers, will determine the type of connected device and allow you to use it. It is worth noting that this type of keyboard (as well as USB) does not provide for the ability to work with BIOS.
