Necessary

  • - a computer with Adobe Photoshop installed;
  • - the Internet.

Instructions

Step 1

Decide first which template you plan to create, as different templates may need different elements. For example, to create a collage template, you will need a source, that is, an original image, from which unnecessary ones will be cut out to substitute your photos. To create a vignette template, you will need a background, frames, and various decorative elements.

Step 2

Choose a background for your vignette. To do this, you can go to the allday.ru website, then to the "PSD-sources" section and select the background you need, then download it to your computer and open the image in Adobe Photoshop. To do this, just drag the required file into the program window. Crop the image to fit your future vignette. They are usually made in A4 format. Name the background layer accordingly.

Step 3

Create vignette photo frames. To do this, you can use ready-made frames taken from the Internet. Find the site, select the frame you like, download it and drag the file with the frame into the program window. Next, create a copy of the frame layer. The number of copies will depend on the number of images in your vignette. Arrange the frames on the background as desired. Next, under the layer of each frame, create an empty layer for adding photos and name it accordingly. Then decorate your template in Adobe Photoshop. For example, you can make a border for the entire page - for this, select the Rectangular Selection tool, select an area slightly smaller than your background, ie. step back a little from the edge. You should have a selection of a couple of centimeters less on each side. Next, open the context menu, select the "Invert Image" command and then press the key combination Ctrl + J.

Step 4

Drag the layer to the very top. Next, select a style for this layer from the Styles palette. You can also set different effects - to do this, double-click on the layer and a menu of effects (shadow, gradient, etc.) will open. Choose the effects to your liking and click OK. Next, save the template for Photoshop using the "File" -> "Save As" command, select the Psd file format, select the folder where you want to save it and click "OK". Template creation in psd is now complete.
