When working with text containing foreign words and symbols, it is necessary to translate the keyboard into another language. To do this, just press a couple of special keys and then type the desired characters in the format required.

Step 1
When typing text documents, it is very convenient to switch to another language using the keyboard keys Ctrl, alt="Image" and Shift, especially since the user can customize their combination by choosing the most convenient option.

To specify which keys you want to use, go to the Start menu, located in the lower left corner of your desktop. Click on the extreme icon (when you hover over it, the words "Start" will appear on top) and open the "Control Panel" section.

Then, in the new window, find the item "Language and regional standards" and follow the link to make the necessary settings. This item contains several sub-items, including Formats, Location, Languages and Keyboards, and Advanced.

After selecting the "Format" section, mark the language that is most preferable for work in the drop-down window. To change the text input language or keyboard, click on the "Languages and keyboards" button, and then - "Change keyboard".

A new window, "Text Input Languages and Services" opens, allows you to configure the default input language. In addition, you can specify the properties of the language bar, define its location on the desktop, toolbar, or hide it altogether.

The next section - "Switching the keyboard" - will be needed in order to select the buttons with which you can launch the function of changing the language. To do this, in the "Keyboard shortcuts for input languages" section, click the "Change keyboard shortcut" button.
Step 7
In the new window, specify which keys on your keyboard will change the input language: left Alt + Shift or Ctrl + Shift. Check the box you want. And then click "OK" to save the changes.

You can also change the language by left-clicking on the language bar and marking the desired language.

The same panel is useful for changing other parameters. But in this case, you will have to use the right mouse button.
